"I went to an all girls grammar school and it was absolutely brilliant"

I went to an all girls grammar school and it was absolutely brilliant. I made wonderful friends, my confidence was boosted and there wasn't the issue of boys to worry about. I’m actually in the tech industry now myself, and have previously worked in teams where I was the only female colleague - and it's pretty much only because of the encouragement I got from my school that instilled in me the self‑belief and confidence I have now.

"Teachers are wonderful here"

Eton, Winchester, St Paul's girls, Magdalen College School (up to 6th form) are all single sex and absolutely at the top in terms of academic results. You have to very wary of educational statististics.

"Issues that need addressing"

In year places at those sort of schools would be very unlikely halfway through the GCSE years (which April Y10 would be) unless maybe they think you're just going to pay your fees and walk to a full set of 9s with no trouble. Even then it's unlikely, you've picked schools that are very difficult to get in to even at normal entry points.
