About St Winifred's RC Primary School

St. Winifred’s is an inclusive school, at the heart of the local community. We are proud to have strong links with the parish, an extremely active PTA (The Friends of St. Winifred’s) and very dedicated Governors. The school is proud of its welcoming and supportive environment, in which everybody is respected and valued.

"Excellent Education and Community"

My daughter has been attending St Winifred's for two years now and I'm thoroughly impressed with the education and community she's received. The school's values of love, faith, justice, peace, and hope have really made a positive impact on her, and I love how inclusive and welcoming the staff are. The open days and PTA events have been fantastic ways to get involved and meet other parents.

"Wonderful First Year"

My son started at St Winifred's in September and what a joy it has been! The teachers are kind and patient, and the facilities are top-notch. I've loved seeing the curriculum come to life through their 'Curriculum Overview' website section - it's given me a real insight into what my son is learning each term.

"Great School with Some Room for Improvement"

I've been really impressed with St Winifred's overall, particularly the school's commitment to teaching literacy and numeracy skills. However, I do think the school could benefit from more extracurricular activities for older children. Still, the staff are friendly and attentive, and I've enjoyed seeing my son grow and develop his interests within the school.

"Good Experience"

I sent my two children to St Winifred's many years ago, and we had a generally positive experience. The school's Catholic values were an important aspect for us, and the community was very welcoming. While some aspects of the school could be improved, I do think it's a good choice for families in the area.
