The Anchor Sendfriendly Centre

The Anchor SENDfriendly Centre (TAS) is an independent specialist provision serving young individuals aged 0-25 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The centre operates from two locations in London, with the primary site in Plumstead. It provides a secure and enriching environment that supports communication, social, emotional, and physical development through both in-facility and external activities. The curriculum follows the Equals Curriculum, the Engagement Model, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and the National Curriculum, offering tailored educational experiences for all students. Specialised facilities include a Sensory Room for relaxation and sensory development, an Immersion Room for dynamic multi-sensory learning, and a Ball Pit Room for physical development and social interaction. Classrooms are designed for small group and one-to-one instruction, and an outdoor playground provides space for play, exercise, and socialisation.
