About The Grey Coat Hospital

The Grey Coat Hospital is a Church of England school for girls aged eleven to eighteen which welcomes boys into the Sixth Form. We are a school with strong values, committed to ensuring that each student is known as an individual, develops the knowledge, skills and personal qualities to lead a successful and fulfilling life, and is empowered to do so.

"Excellent school community and facilities"

I have been so impressed with the warm and supportive community at The Grey Coat Hospital. My child has thrived in the school's vibrant atmosphere and has made lifelong friends. The facilities are top-notch, with excellent resources for music, art, and sport. The values of kindness, humility, and independence are woven throughout the school's fabric and really resonated with me as a parent.

"Mixed experience, but room for improvement"

While my child has had some great experiences at The Grey Coat Hospital, I've been disappointed with the communication from the school regarding homework expectations and deadlines. The facilities are excellent, and the teachers seem enthusiastic, but I've noticed some inconsistency in the quality of teaching. Perhaps with more emphasis on communication and organization, the school could reach its full potential.
