Yesodey Hatorah Girls School

Yesodey Hatorah Senior Girls' School is a state-funded, voluntary-aided secondary school for girls aged 11-16 located in Stamford Hill, London Borough of Hackney. Founded in 1942 as a private school with separate sections for boys and girls, the girls' senior department became a maintained voluntary-aided school in September 2005 when it relocated to new accommodation. The school serves the Charedi Orthodox Jewish community of Stamford Hill, which represents Europe's largest Orthodox Jewish community. The curriculum combines Torah principles with the National Curriculum, aiming to develop each girl's Charedi Jewish identity while ensuring academic success and personal development. The school was rated "Good" by Ofsted in May 2024, with "Outstanding" ratings in Quality of Education and Behaviour and Attitudes, representing significant improvement from its previous "Inadequate" rating in 2018.
