Forest Bridge School

Forest Bridge School is a Special Free School located in Braywick Park, Maidenhead, dedicated to children and young people aged 4-16 with a primary diagnosis of autism. Founded in 2015, the school provides a highly therapeutic and evidence-based educational environment combining Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with personalized curricula tailored to each pupil's needs. The curriculum covers 12 domains including Independent Living, Employment, Community Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, Communication, Social Skills, STEAM, and Academic subjects, aiming to prepare students for adulthood and independent living. The school maintains small class sizes (typically 8-9 pupils) with a minimum adult-to-pupil ratio of 1:2, and many pupils receive 1:1 support. Forest Bridge School emphasizes individual plans aligned with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and offers access to occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and art therapies. The school relocated to its current Braywick Park site in March 2021 and is known for its supportive, inclusive approach and strong focus on enabling pupils to achieve their full potential.
