About Mid Essex Co-Operative Academy

We have been graded Ofsted 'Good' in all areas following our recent Ofsted Inspection. We are an Alternative Provision School for children aged 5 - 16, most of whom have found it difficult to be successful in a mainstream school. We re-engage young people with education.

"A School that Truly Cares"

Mid Essex Co-Operative Academy has been a breath of fresh air for our child, who was struggling in mainstream school. The staff's commitment to re-engaging young people with education is inspiring, and their dedication to supporting our child's emotional and academic needs has been outstanding. We're grateful for the opportunity to have our child attend this exceptional school.

"Excellent Support and Care"

As a parent of a child who struggled in mainstream school, Mid Essex Co-Operative Academy provided a safe and nurturing environment that allowed them to thrive. The staff's dedication to supporting our child's emotional and academic needs was impressive, and we're grateful for the progress they made during their time there.

"Positive Experience, but Room for Improvement"

We've been pleased with the progress our child has made at Mid Essex Co-Operative Academy, thanks to the support of their teachers and the engaging activities on offer. However, we feel that communication with parents could be improved, and there have been some inconsistencies in the quality of teaching. Overall, we're happy with the school's efforts to meet our child's needs.

"A Second Chance for Our Child"

We were initially hesitant about sending our child to Mid Essex Co-Operative Academy, but the experience has been a game-changer. The staff's commitment to re-engaging young people with education is evident in everything they do, from the tailored learning plans to the extracurricular activities. Our child has gained confidence and a newfound love for learning.
