St. George’s Central CE Primary School and Nursery is a larger than average school with nursery provision for 3 and 4 year olds on our school based site and provision for both 2 and 3 year olds on our community based Lancaster Avenue Nursery site.

"A great school with some minor issues"

Our child is happy at St Georges and we are pleased with the quality of teaching and the facilities. However, we have noticed that the school could do more to communicate with parents and keep them informed about what is happening in class.

"A welcoming and inclusive school"

We have been impressed with the school's commitment to safety and the way they involve parents in school life. The staff are friendly and approachable and our child feels happy and supported. We would definitely recommend the school to any parent.

"Our child loves coming to St Georges"

We have been impressed with the school's focus on British values and the way they encourage our child to be confident and kind. The facilities are great and our child loves participating in the extra-curricular clubs.

"An excellent school with a great community"

We have two children who attended St Georges and they both had a fantastic experience. The school's emphasis on cultural capital and the opportunities they provide for children to learn and grow are second to none. We would highly recommend the school to any parent.
