Urmston Grammar is a selective school - we are an academy. The Governors and Urmston Grammar's SLT lead a highly successful 11-18 co-educational grammar school with an excellent national and local reputation for academic excellence in a caring community.

"Mixed feelings about UGS so far"

My child is still adjusting to the school, but we're pleased with the facilities and the enthusiasm of some of the teachers. However, we've had a few issues with communication and organization, which has made it harder to know what's going on. Fingers crossed for the future!

"Excellent school with kind staff"

My child has thrived at Urmston Grammar, thanks to the supportive teachers and excellent facilities. The emphasis on pride, participation, and empathy is really showing in their attitude and work ethic. We're so grateful to be part of the UGS community.

"Fantastic school with great opportunities"

Our child has loved the extracurricular activities and trips at UGS, and the science facilities are top-notch. The school's values really shine through in the way the staff and students treat each other. We're really proud to be part of the UGS family.

"Still proud of our time at UGS"

Our child graduated a few years ago, but we're still so proud of their achievements and the skills they learned at Urmston Grammar. The school's commitment to academic excellence and pastoral care really helped them grow into a confident and capable young adult.
