Newlands Junior School has been serving the community since 1966, setting high expectations for all pupils. Our aim is to see motivated, well-cared for children and adults working together to achieve their personal best in all areas of school life through a stimulating, broad curriculum.

"Our amazing school experience!"

We've been at Newlands Junior for a couple of years now and can honestly say we've never been happier with a school. The values of pride, respect, kindness, and responsibility are deeply ingrained in the children, and we love how the teachers genuinely care about each child's well-being. Our child has thrived here and made lifelong friends, we can't thank the staff enough!

"Excellent education and caring staff!"

Newlands Junior has exceeded our expectations on every level. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and the staff have been incredibly supportive. Our child is learning so much and is developing a love for learning that we're so grateful for. We highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a nurturing and academically strong environment.

"Mixed feelings about our experience"

We were at Newlands Junior for a few years before moving to the area. While the staff were always friendly and accommodating, I felt that the curriculum could have been more engaging for our child. The school did offer some great programs like the breakfast club, which we made good use of. Overall, I'd say it's an average school, but with some areas for improvement.

"Proud parent!"

We've been at Newlands Junior for several years now, and it's been an absolute pleasure. The school's focus on kindness, respect, and responsibility has rubbed off on our child, and we couldn't be prouder of the person they're becoming. The teachers are fantastic, always going above and beyond to support the children, and we've made some wonderful friends within the school community.
