About Churchfields, the Village School

Churchfields, the Village School opened in 2006 through the amalgamation of Atworth School and Monkton Farleigh C.E. School. The children are taught and supported by a committed team of teachers and support staff that promote quality learning by having high expectations and standards. We believe that it is crucial to fully involve parents, and work hard to create a family atmosphere at the school.

"Some Great Aspects, but Room for Improvement"

We had a generally positive experience at Churchfields, but there were some issues with communication and consistency between the two sites. The school's focus on mental health and wellbeing is admirable, and we appreciated the support they provided during a difficult time.

"An Outstanding School Experience!"

We've been part of the Churchfields community for several years now, and it's been an absolute pleasure. The school's values of being Reflective, Resourceful, and Resilient really shine through in every aspect of the children's learning and development.

"Fantastic School!"

I'm so grateful to have found Churchfields - the Village School. My daughter has thrived in the supportive environment and has made some wonderful friends. The breakfast club has been a lifesaver for us, and the staff are always so welcoming and helpful.
