About Linton Primary School

We are a very small school located in the village of Linton in Northumberland, which provides academic and pastoral provision for children from Nursery to Year 6. We strive to create a school system that fits our children’s needs and not vice versa. Being “Intentionally Inclusive” is at the heart of everything we do.

"A bit disappointed with the communication"

We've been at Linton Primary School for a year now and while our daughter is happy and settled, we've had a few issues with communication. Sometimes we feel like we're in the dark about what's happening in class and it would be great to get more updates. That being said, the staff are lovely and the facilities are excellent. We're hoping they'll work on their communication as the school is otherwise a great fit for us.

"Small school with a big heart"

We moved to the area a year ago and I'm so glad we chose Linton Primary School for our daughter. The school's commitment to inclusivity and adapting to each child's needs is something that really stands out to me. The staff are always approachable and the facilities are excellent, our daughter loves the play areas and the sensory garden.

"A warm and caring school community"

My son has been at Linton Primary School for two years now and we couldn't be happier. The staff and teachers are always available to support our children and make sure they feel included and valued. The Forest School camp is a highlight of the week for my son and he loves learning in the woods! The values of PRITT are something we talk about at home too, it's lovely to see them in practice every day.

"Wonderful school with a sense of community"

My son attended Linton Primary School from Reception to Year 2 and we had a great experience. The school's values of PRITT are something he still talks about and applies to his life. The staff were always supportive and the school's commitment to inclusivity was something that really resonated with me. If we were still in the area, we'd definitely consider sending our younger child here too.
