About Ballard School

An award-winning, co-educational, independent day school, Ballard educates pupils from Nursery to GCSE. We sit within 34-acres of woodland and playing fields on the Hampshire / Dorset border, between the New Forest and Solent.

"Love the sense of community!"

We've been at Ballard for 4 years now and it's been an amazing journey. The staff are so supportive and the facilities are excellent. My child has thrived in the nurturing environment and made lifelong friends.

"Outstanding education and values!"

Ballard has exceeded our expectations in every way. The bespoke education approach has helped my child develop a love of learning and the values they teach are outstanding. We're so grateful to be a part of the Ballard community.

"A great foundation for future success"

My child has settled in well at Ballard and we're impressed with the range of activities and extracurricular programs on offer. The staff are friendly and the facilities are excellent. We're excited to see our child thrive in this supportive environment.

"A good school, but could improve"

We moved our child to Ballard after a few years and were initially impressed with the facilities and values. However, we feel that the school could do more to engage parents in decision-making and provide more support for children with special needs. Overall, it's a good school, but not perfect.
