About The Suthers School

The Suthers School is a new, non-selective secondary school serving the communities of Newark and the surrounding areas. The school is based in a brand new, purpose-built, state-of-the-art building at Fernwood, just south of Newark. The school has a uniquely character-focused approach that empowers young people to do more than they ever thought possible.

"Mixed Feelings So Far..."

I'm still getting used to the school's layout, but my child seems to be settling in okay. They love the new theatre and the Duke of Edinburgh Award program looks awesome too! However, we've had a bit of trouble getting in touch with the teachers, and I'm still waiting for more information about the Parent Portal.

"A Fresh Start in a Fantastic New School!"

I've been blown away by the staff at The Suthers School - they're genuinely passionate about helping the kids achieve their full potential. My child is thriving in the new facilities, and the extracurricular programs are amazing! We've also noticed a real emphasis on character development, which is wonderful to see.

"Unbeatable School Experience!"

My child graduated from The Suthers School last year, and it's been incredible to see how they've grown and developed under the school's care. The approach to learning is so engaging, and the facilities are top-notch. We're so grateful to have been a part of the Suthers community.
