About Beacon Hill School

Beacon Hill School is North Tyneside’s specialist provision for educating children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Autism and complex medical conditions. The school is based across three sites – Main school – Wallsend, Langdale Centre and Linskill for Sixth Form. Our staff are highly skilled and experienced and develop the skills and abilities of the children in co-operation with parents and carers and a wide range of associated professionals.

"Exceptional Support for My Son"

I've been blown away by the care and support my son has received at Beacon Hill. The staff are incredibly dedicated and work tirelessly to ensure each child reaches their full potential. The facilities are excellent and the extracurricular programs have given my son the confidence to try new things.

"A School that Truly Cares"

As a former parent, I can confidently say that Beacon Hill is a school that puts the needs of its students first. The staff are passionate and committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children. Although my child has moved on, I still visit the school and am always impressed by the warmth and inclusivity that permeates every aspect of the school

"A Haven for Our Child"

After years of struggling to find the right school for our child, we finally feel like we've found a haven at Beacon Hill. The staff are understanding and accommodating, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. Our child has made tremendous progress and is now thriving in a way that we never thought possible.
