Blackthorn Primary School is a one form entry primary school with a happy and thriving nursery. Our school has been on a journey of improvement, driven by a continuing passion to provide excellence for all the children in our community. We believe that excellence for every child begins with high-quality teaching that is carefully planned and structured around a rich and balanced curriculum from Nursery to Year 6.

"Some Good, Some Room for Improvement"

I've been pleased with the progress my child has made at Blackthorn Primary, but I do feel that the school could improve communication with parents. The teachers are great and the facilities are good, but sometimes it feels like we're not always in the loop.

"Excellent School Experience"

I'm so grateful to have my child at Blackthorn Primary. The staff are kind, caring and dedicated to providing a high-quality education. The facilities are also excellent, with a great nursery and plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play.

"Happy Child, Happy Parent!"

My child loves going to Blackthorn Primary and I couldn't be happier with the progress they've made. The staff are always on hand to offer support and guidance, and the values they're teaching the kids are fantastic.

"Great Foundation for Future"

As a former parent, I was impressed by the school's focus on providing a well-rounded education. The staff were always supportive and encouraging, and the kids seemed to really enjoy their time at Blackthorn Primary.
