About Thorplands Primary School

Thorplands Primary School is a happy and successful school in the Eastern District of Northampton. We aim to deliver a quality curriculum which inspires children to achieve their very best. We are proud to be a part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT) who support & challenge us in broadening the opportunities and experiences for our children.

"A wonderful school experience!"

My child has thrived at Thorplands Primary School. The staff are incredibly supportive and the facilities are fantastic, especially the new play tower which the kids adore. I love the emphasis on collaboration and integrity, which is reflected in the way the teachers work together to create a positive learning environment. Highly recommend!

"A shining star in the community!"

I'm so grateful to have found Thorplands Primary School for my child. The school's commitment to aspiration, collaboration, and integrity is inspiring, and the teachers genuinely care about each child's well-being. The facilities are excellent, and the school's partnership with NPAT has brought in some fantastic opportunities for the kids. Can't recommend highly enough!

"Excellent learning opportunities!"

We joined Thorplands Primary School last year and have been impressed with the quality of teaching and the range of activities on offer. My child is loving the nursery and reception classes, and I appreciate the focus on developing the whole child. The Changemaker Award is a great example of the school's commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

"A good school with some areas for improvement"

We moved away from Thorplands Primary School a few years ago, but my child still talks fondly of their time there. The staff were generally supportive and the curriculum was well-rounded. However, I did feel that the school could benefit from more resources to support children with special educational needs. Overall, a solid choice for families in the area.
