About Lakenham Primary School

Lakenham Primary School and Nursery is a school that follows the Norfolk County Council Admissions process. We believe that settling children into school is very important and we do everything we can to make their first year at school a happy time. We have a team of experienced teachers and learning support staff who act as key workers to ensure that our provision is the best it can be.

"Good but room for improvement"

We have generally been pleased with Lakenham Primary School, but there have been a few issues with communication between teachers and parents. The pastoral support team is excellent, but we have felt that our child has sometimes struggled to settle into class. Overall, we think the school is a good choice, but there is scope for improvement.

"Fantastic School!"

We have been absolutely delighted with Lakenham Primary School. The facilities are excellent, with a wonderful library and music room. The OPAL program has been a highlight for our child, who has really thrived in their 'buddy' group. The staff are always approachable and genuinely care about the children.

"Exceptional Education"

As a family, we have had the pleasure of sending our two children to Lakenham Primary School. We were consistently impressed by the high standard of education, care and support provided by the staff. The school's values of enjoy, aspire, achieve really shine through in the way the children are encouraged to develop their interests and potential.
