We are a busy primary school, located in the conservation village of Bagthorpe, near Underwood, Nottinghamshire. We aim for excellence in achievement and personal development by having a stimulating curriculum, which closely matches the needs of our children and encourages them to be confident, motivated and enthusiastic learners.

"Happy with Bagthorpe Primary"

My child has been attending Bagthorpe Primary for two years now and we've been very happy. The school's focus on determination and hard work is just what we want to instill in our children. The teachers are always approachable and the school events, such as the nativity play, are always a highlight.

"Needs improvement in some areas"

We've been at Bagthorpe Primary for a year now and while we've had a good experience, there are some areas that could be improved. The school's values of humility and courage are great, but I feel that the curriculum could be more engaging for some of the children. The bikeability programme is great, though!

"Amazing experience at Bagthorpe Primary"

My two children attended Bagthorpe Primary and we had a fantastic experience. The school's values of compassion and integrity really shone through in the way the teachers and staff cared for the children. The facilities were excellent and the bikeability programme was a great addition. I would highly recommend the school.
