About Firbeck Academy

Firbeck Academy is a one-form entry primary school that caters for children from nursery to Year 6 in Wollaton and surrounding areas in Nottingham. Our school is built upon a strong ethos that encompasses our values of 'Work Hard, Be Kind'. The dedicated and caring staff at Firbeck work together closely to ensure that all pupils are happy and safe at school whilst engaging in a rich and challenging curriculum that provides them with lifelong opportunities.

"Exceptional School Experience"

I've been thoroughly impressed with Firbeck Academy. The staff are caring, the facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the emphasis on 'Work Hard-Be Kind' is truly inspiring. My child has blossomed in this positive environment, and I feel confident they're receiving a top-notch education.

"Excellent Preparations for Senior School"

As a parent of a child who attended Firbeck Academy before moving to senior school, I was impressed by the thorough preparations they provided. The Forest School program and UNICEF's Rights Respecting School initiative were particularly notable. My child has thrived in their new school, and I believe Firbeck played a significant role in their success.

"Some Teething Issues but Overall Positive Experience"

We've had a mostly positive experience at Firbeck Academy, but there have been a few hiccups along the way. The nursery staff and Early Years program have been fantastic, but we've had some concerns about the playground equipment and occasional communication breakdowns with teachers. Despite this, we're committed to seeing our child's education through at Firbeck.
