About Hucknall Flying High Academy

Our new school, on the site of the old Rolls-Royce factory off Watnall Road, is something special. Inside this, state of the art, beautiful modern building, children can access a curriculum that is second to none in its ability to foster a lifelong love of learning, where pupils achieve their potential.

"Fantastic support for my child with SEN"

We've been really blown away by the support that Hucknall Flying High Academy has given our child with special educational needs. The SENCO, Mrs Hitchen, has been an absolute rock and has worked tirelessly to ensure that our child gets the help they need. The school's facilities are also amazing, especially the outdoor spaces. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school!

"Excellent experience for my child!"

We've been at Hucknall Flying High Academy for a few years now and I'm so impressed with the facilities, the teaching staff and the sense of community. My child loves the Flying High values and the emphasis on kindness and respect. We've seen huge progress in their confidence and learning. Highly recommend!

"Great school, but some areas for improvement"

We moved to a different area a year ago, but our experience at Hucknall Flying High Academy was generally positive. The school has a great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and approachable. However, I felt that the communication with parents could be better, especially when it came to reporting and feedback. Overall, I'd still recommend the school, but with some caveats.
