About English Martyrs' Catholic Voluntary Academy

We are a small Voluntary Aided Catholic Academy with 157 children aged between 4 – 11 years old. We are part of the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust together with 16 other primary schools and 4 secondary schools across Leicestershire and Rutland.

"Wonderful Community and Values"

English Martyrs has been an absolute delight for my child. The community is warm and welcoming, and the emphasis on Catholic values has been a lovely way to reinforce our own family's values. My child loves the school and can't wait to go to school each day!

"Room for Improvement on Communication"

We've been pleased with the education our child has received at English Martyrs, but we've sometimes struggled with communication from the school. It would be helpful to have more regular updates on our child's progress and any issues that arise. That being said, the school's values and community are a great asset.

"Excellent Education and Care"

We were very happy with the education and care our child received at English Martyrs. The teachers were always available to answer questions and the school's approach to learning was engaging and effective. My child made great progress during their time at the school.
