Our school focuses on the values of improving children’s self-awareness, through warmth, resilience and collaboration, so that everyone strives towards excellence. We are dedicated to providing exciting learning experiences for our pupils, sparking curiosity and developing authentic learning experiences which will ultimately lead to achievement for all.

"Excellent School Experience"

My child has been at Lightwoods Primary Academy for 3 years and I'm impressed with the facilities, staff and the overall atmosphere. The 'Excel' value is evident in everything they do, from the daily lessons to the extracurricular activities. We've seen significant improvement in our child's confidence and academic abilities. We couldn't ask for more.

"A Great School with Outstanding Outcomes"

My children both attended Lightwoods Primary Academy and I'm grateful for the education they received. The school's focus on self-awareness, warmth, resilience and collaboration has had a lasting impact on their lives. The Outstanding preschool, Tinywoods, is also worth mentioning – my younger child thrived there. I highly recommend this school.

"Good School, Some Areas for Improvement"

We've been at Lightwoods Primary Academy for a year now and overall, we're satisfied with the school. The facilities are excellent and the staff are friendly. However, we've noticed that the school could do more to engage parents in events and activities. Our child enjoys the 'Explore' value, which encourages curiosity and discovery.

"A True Community School"

Lightwoods Primary Academy is more than just a school – it's a community. The staff, parents and children all work together to create a supportive and inclusive environment. My child loves the 'Together' value, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration and teamwork. We feel lucky to be a part of this school.
