About Alexandra Park Junior School

Our mission is to improve the lives and life chances of young people in Oldham and the local area. We strive to make learning engaging, fun and purposeful, endeavouring to provide as many ‘real life’ learning experiences as possible through our trips and visits.

"Excellent School Experience"

My child has thrived in this school, the friendly and supportive staff make her feel safe and loved. I'm impressed with the diverse range of extra-curricular activities and trips they offer, it's clear they're committed to making learning fun and engaging. The school's values of kindness and respect are something I'm proud to see my child embodying.

"Good but Room for Improvement"

My child has been at the school for a year now, and we're generally happy with their experience. The staff are friendly, and the facilities are great. However, I do feel that the school could do more to engage with parents, and I've had some issues with communication. Still, I believe the school is moving in the right direction, and I'm hopeful for the future.

"Wonderful School Community"

I have such fond memories of my time at Alexandra Park Junior School with my child. The teachers were always approachable and encouraging, and the sense of community within the school was excellent. My child has carried the values they taught him with pride, and I'm grateful for the positive impact the school has had on our lives.
