"Excellent school - caring and supportive staff"

I cannot speak highly enough of Fir Bank Primary School. The staff are so caring and supportive, my child has thrived since starting here. The values of the school are evident in everything they do, from the 'Where everyone matters' motto to the inclusive and welcoming environment.

"A great school with amazing facilities"

As a parent of a Year 6 child, I've had the pleasure of seeing the school's facilities improve over the years. The new playground is fantastic and the staff have always been very responsive to my concerns. The school's focus on mental health and wellbeing is also something I appreciate.

"Good school, but room for improvement"

I have mixed feelings about Fir Bank Primary School. As a former parent, I appreciated the school's commitment to inclusivity and the 'nut and sesame free' policy was a big plus for us. However, I felt that the communication with parents could sometimes be lacking and the homework expectations were a bit too high for my taste.
