A warm welcome to all visiting our school website. We are a village school near Otley and Ilkley with a core purpose of providing excellence for all within a happy, calm and caring environment.

"Welcoming and Supporting Environment"

We've been really impressed with the warm and caring atmosphere at Askwith Primary. Our child has made great friends and the teachers are always approachable and supportive. The extracurricular activities, like the Brownlee MiniTriathlon, are a great way to encourage kids to try new things!

"A Good but Not Exceptional Experience"

We've been generally happy with Askwith Primary, but our child's class has had some issues with noise levels and classroom management. The school's focus on mental health is excellent, though, and the teachers have been supportive in addressing our child's specific needs. Overall, it's a decent school, but could be improved.

"A Family of Learners"

Askwith Primary was instrumental in shaping our children into curious, compassionate, and confident individuals. The family ethos is genuinely at the heart of everything they do, from the annual sports day to the KS2 SATs prep. We couldn't have asked for a better education!
