About Mabel Prichard School

Mabel Prichard School is a community special school for children and young people with complex needs from the ages of 2 to 19. We believe in enabling every student to discover who they are and to realise their full potential. Our curriculum offers a broad range of opportunities to face challenge; develop independence; prepare for adulthood; discover the world; be safe and develop the skills and knowledge needed to lead a happy, positive and fulfilled life.

"Good school with some areas for improvement"

We've been at Mabel Prichard School for a few months now and overall we're happy with the experience. The teachers are nice and the facilities are okay, but we're not entirely convinced by the preparation for adulthood program. We also feel that communication with parents could be better. Still, we're hopeful that the school will continue to improve and we're willing to give it more time.

"Fantastic school for our child"

We've been at Mabel Prichard School for a year now and it's been a game-changer for our child. The facilities are amazing, especially the jacuzzi and art rooms, and the staff are so supportive and caring. We love the emphasis on independence and preparing for adulthood - it's exactly what our child needs.

"Wonderful school with a great community"

We're so grateful to have found Mabel Prichard School. The teachers are fantastic, the facilities are excellent, and the values of the school really resonate with us. We love the way the school supports our child's individual needs and helps them to grow in confidence.

"A great school with a heart of gold"

We were at Mabel Prichard School for three years and had a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly dedicated and the facilities are top-notch. We especially appreciated the way the school supported our child's transition to adulthood, preparing them for life after school. We're so grateful for the time our child spent there.
