About Brunel School

Brunel School is a specialist provision for learners aged 11 to 16-years-old whose needs cannot be met within a mainstream environment. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in relation to their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. A strong wrap-around approach at the school enables learners to build their confidence, overcome barriers to learning and progress to a positive next step in their lives.

"Some Positives, But Room for Improvement"

My child has been attending Brunel School for a year now and while there have been some ups and downs, I do think it's a good school. The behaviour team is really supportive and the safeguarding procedures are robust. However, I do think the communication with parents could be better and there are sometimes issues with the food.

"Helped My Child Thrive"

My child attended Brunel School for two years and it was a really positive experience for them. The Prosper Hub was particularly helpful in supporting their transition to further education. I only wish they could have stayed for longer!

"A School That Truly Cares"

I was a bit apprehensive about sending my child to a specialist school, but from the moment we visited Brunel, I knew it was the right place for them. The staff are kind, the facilities are modern and the curriculum is engaging. My child has really thrived here.

"A Safe Haven for My Child"

My child has been attending Brunel School for a year now and it has been a game-changer. The staff are amazing, the facilities are excellent and the values they instill in the children are fantastic. I feel so grateful to have found a school that can meet my child's needs.
