Discovery Primary Academy

We've been at Discovery Primary Academy for two years now and I couldn't be happier with the progress our daughter has made. The teaching staff are all so caring and supportive, and the facilities are excellent, especially the new swimming pool! We've also found the school's emphasis on kindness, responsibility and aspiration to be really beneficial for our child's emotional wellbeing.

We've been at Discovery Primary Academy for a year now and have seen our child make some good progress, particularly in reading and maths. However, we've found the school's communication with parents to be a bit lacking at times, and there have been a few occasions when our child has come home feeling upset or disappointed. We're hoping that the new Thrive programme will help address some of these issues, but for now, we're giving the school the benefit of the doubt.

My children attended Discovery Primary Academy from Reception to Year 6 and had a fantastic time. The school's focus on academic achievement, combined with their commitment to nurturing the whole child, really helped them develop into confident and curious learners. We were always impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff, and the school's values of determination, confidence, aspiration, kindness and responsibility were evident throughout our time there.
