NeneGate

NeneGate School is a maintained special school located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, serving pupils aged 8-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The school opened in January 2008 and joined the Meridian Trust in February 2023. It is a small, friendly school set in the heart of Peterborough with easily accessible local amenities, enabling regular off-site activities for work experience and class trips. The school is well-equipped with interactive whiteboards and computers in all classrooms, along with specialist teaching rooms for ICT, Art, Design & Technology, PE, Science, and Food Technology. The school operates under three core pillars: Be Engaged, Be Ambitious, and Be Resilient, with a curriculum adapted to meet the needs of children with SEND.
