About Willow Dene School

Willow Dene is an outstanding special school for children of primary and secondary age, and young people of sixth form age. We are a values-based learning community completely focused on building provision around the needs of each child or young person and their families. We are a very happy community and aim to offer our families support to enable children to thrive, and enjoy living and learning.

"Outstanding school for our daughter"

Willow Dene has been a game-changer for our family. The facilities are excellent, and the values-based approach has helped our daughter grow into a confident and compassionate individual. We're so grateful for the support and care she receives from the staff.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We've been impressed with some aspects of Willow Dene, such as the school's commitment to therapy and the expertise of the staff. However, we've experienced some communication issues and feel that the school could do more to engage with parents. Overall, we're hopeful that the school will continue to improve.

"Exceptional teachers and a happy community"

I have nothing but praise for Willow Dene. The teachers are exceptional, and the school's focus on building a happy community has made such a positive impact on our son. He thrived during his time there, and we're so grateful for the experience.
