Larks Hill Junior and Infant School

My child has been attending Larks Hill Junior and Infant School for three years now and it's been a fantastic experience. The staff are incredibly caring and supportive, and the school's focus on mutual respect, resilience, independence, and collaboration has really made a positive impact on my child's confidence and behavior. I've also been impressed by the school's facilities and programs, particularly the Phonics Screening Check results which are outstanding!

I have mixed feelings about Larks Hill Junior and Infant School. On the one hand, my child seems to enjoy their time here and the teachers are generally friendly and helpful. However, I've had some concerns about the school's communication and organization, particularly during the transition from Reception to Year 1. Additionally, I feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and provide opportunities for us to get involved. Overall, it's an okay school, but I'm not entirely convinced it's the best fit for my child.

My son attended Larks Hill from Reception to Year 2 and it was an absolute pleasure to see him grow and develop as a person. The teachers were always approachable and enthusiastic, and the school's emphasis on nurturing and mutual respect created a warm and inclusive atmosphere. I was also impressed by the school's commitment to staff feedback, with the Edurio Awards recognizing their efforts. Overall, I highly recommend Larks Hill to any parent looking for a supportive and academic environment.
