About Bidston Village CofE (Controlled) Primary School

We are a Church School with strong links to St Oswald’s church and the local community. We promote a family-friendly atmosphere, where everyone is encouraged to care for each other. We pride ourselves on the fact that Bidston Village is a happy school with a positive atmosphere and excellent relationships between staff and pupils.

"Some positives, but room for improvement"

While our child has generally enjoyed their time at Bidston Village, we've experienced some issues with homework and communication from the school. However, the staff are enthusiastic and the facilities are good. We appreciate the opportunities for community involvement and the emphasis on character development.

"Wonderful start to our child's education"

We've been thrilled with the progress our child has made since starting at Bidston Village. The school's commitment to individualized learning and its welcoming atmosphere have made our child feel valued and supported. We're grateful for the excellent teaching and pastoral care.

"Excellent school with caring staff"

I've been impressed with the school's efforts to create a family-friendly atmosphere. My child has settled in well and is loving the extracurricular activities on offer. The teachers are always available to offer support and guidance.

"Happy memories of our time at Bidston Village"

Although our child has moved on to secondary school, we still have fond memories of their time at Bidston Village. The school's values of love, faith, and learning are truly embodied by the staff and pupils. We appreciated the opportunities for parental involvement and the sense of community.
