About Dorset House School

Dorset House is proud to be the oldest private prep school in West Sussex and indeed, one of the oldest in the country and we can trace our roots back to the 18th century.

"Magical Experience for My Child"

We've been blown away by the warmth, devotion, and dedication of the staff at Dorset House. Their emphasis on kindness, gentleness, and empowerment has been a perfect fit for my child. The facilities are stunning, and the teachers are always willing to go the extra mile.

"Generally Positive Experience, but Some Room for Improvement"

We've been impressed with Dorset House's commitment to art, drama, and music, and our child has really thrived in these areas. However, we've experienced some issues with communication between the school and parents, and I feel that the school could benefit from more parent-teacher conference opportunities.

"Exceptional School with a Family Feel"

We were so sad to leave Dorset House when our child moved on to senior school, but the memories and experiences we had there will stay with us forever. The school's focus on academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and personal development is simply outstanding. I would highly recommend it to any family seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.
