"Excellent school with a caring approach"

My child joined Trewirgie Junior School two years ago and we've seen a huge improvement in their confidence and academic abilities. The school's emphasis on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is something I really appreciate, and the staff have been very supportive throughout. The recent legacy projects have also been a great way to engage the children in real-world issues and develop their social conscience.

"Room for improvement"

My child has been at Trewirgie Junior School for a year now, and while I appreciate the school's values and emphasis on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, I've been concerned about the amount of homework given and the sometimes chaotic atmosphere in the playground. The staff have been helpful, but I feel that the school could do more to support children with SEN. I look forward to seeing how things develop in the future.

"A great school for my child"

My child has settled in well at Trewirgie Junior School and is enjoying the variety of activities and experiences on offer. The school's commitment to providing a Gold Rights Respecting environment has been reassuring for me as a parent, and the staff have been very welcoming. I've been impressed by the school's legacy projects, which have allowed my child to develop important skills and values.

"A wonderful community"

I have many fond memories of my time as a parent at Trewirgie Junior School. The school created a warm and supportive environment for my children, with a strong focus on individual needs and abilities. I was impressed by the school's use of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child to inform their teaching and the impact it had on the children's self-esteem and social skills.
