About Micklefield School

An independent co-educational school and nursery for 2+ to 11 year olds. Part of the Reigate Grammar School family. We know that the attitudes and principles your child takes with them into adult life will be formed during their junior school years.

"Good, but not without its challenges"

We've been at Micklefield for a year now, and it's been a mixed bag. The staff are generally friendly and supportive, but we've had some issues with communication and organisation. The facilities are great, though, and our daughter loves her classes. We'd recommend it, but with some caveats.

"Wonderful community feel and supportive teachers"

My son joined Micklefield last year and it's been a fantastic experience. The school's focus on social responsibility and community is really inspiring, and we've noticed a big improvement in his confidence thanks to the supportive teachers.

"Excellent all-round experience for our daughter"

We've been truly impressed with Micklefield School. From the excellent staff and facilities to the strong emphasis on values like kindness and respect, we feel our daughter has thrived. The recent 'Strictly Come Writing' assembly was a highlight for her!

"Excellent prep school for our son's transition to senior school"

We moved our son to Micklefield from a different prep school and were delighted with the results. The teachers were great, and the school's focus on values like kindness and respect really helped him develop as a person. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the somewhat limited extracurricular activities.
