Treorchy Comprehensive School is an English language, mixed comprehensive school located in Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. Founded in 1965 on the former site of the Tylecoch Colliery, it became a fully comprehensive school in 1970 and currently serves approximately 1,580 pupils aged 11 to 18, including a sixth form of around 364 students. The school offers a broad curriculum designed to meet the social and academic needs of its students, with a strong emphasis on respect, responsibility, and aspiration as core values. It supports a range of learning pathways, including fast-track provisions for more able pupils, particularly in Welsh second language and mathematics. Facilities and extracurricular activities include a Student Council, Conservation Club, and Combined Cadet Force.
