About Broomhaugh (VA) Church of England First School

Broomhaugh C of E First School is a small community school that aims to provide a warm, enjoyable, caring atmosphere in which children can learn and succeed. We are committed to working with parents to create a partnership to enable the children to flourish. Our school is set in beautiful, spacious grounds, which are an ideal setting for children to interact, play and expand their knowledge and understanding.

"Our Child Loves Going to Broomhaugh First School"

Our child has been at Broomhaugh First School for two years now, and we're so happy with the progress they've made. The school's Forest School program is one of the best things about it - our child loves exploring the outdoors and learning about nature. The teachers are all so supportive and kind, and the values the school teaches align perfectly with our own. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful school for our child!

"A Great Little School with a Big Heart"

We're so impressed with Broomhaugh First School - the staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and the school's facilities are top-notch. Our child loves playing in the outdoor space and attending Forest School sessions. We also appreciate the school's emphasis on Christian values and kindness - it's wonderful to see our child learning about empathy and compassion.

"A Decent School, but Could Improve in Some Areas"

We sent our child to Broomhaugh First School for a few years, and while it was a decent school, we did feel that they could improve in a few areas. The teachers were generally good, but sometimes the curriculum felt a bit rushed. We also didn't love the way they handled some of the classroom behavior issues. That being said, the school does have some lovely facilities and a great sense of community.
