About Bassingbourn Village College

Bassingbourn Village College is a non-selective comprehensive school with an agreed admissions number of 125 from September 2015. Our aim is to be the best comprehensive school in Cambridgeshire, within the next five years. We aim to do this by delivering our students with an education that unlocks their potential to obtain the best educational outcome for them.

"A Good, But Not Perfect Experience"

Our experience at Bassingbourn has been positive overall, but we've had some concerns about communication from the school. The facilities are great, and our child enjoys their lessons. However, we feel that the school could improve in terms of keeping parents informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.

"Our Daughter Thrives at Bassingbourn!"

We've been incredibly impressed with the school's commitment to unlocking each child's potential. The facilities are excellent, and our daughter has loved participating in the netball club and attending the 'Belonging by Design' initiative. The staff are always approachable and supportive, making us feel valued as parents.

"Excellent Education and Values"

As a former parent, I can confidently say that Bassingbourn Village College provided our children with an outstanding education and helped shape them into confident, compassionate individuals. We appreciated the school's emphasis on 'Believe, Achieve, Succeed' and its commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
