JP Alternative Education

JP Alternative Education is an Ofsted-registered independent school located on a 35-acre site on Cannock Chase in Rugeley, Staffordshire. The school serves students aged 10-17 and specializes in alternative provision for young people who struggle with mainstream education. It uses outdoor activities to engage, nurture, and raise the self-esteem of its students, creating a calm and safe learning environment. For Key Stage 2 and 3 students, the school offers a full curriculum integrated with activities and educational visits. Key Stage 4 students receive targeted support in English and Mathematics alongside vocational qualifications in Motor Vehicles, Construction, Hospitality & Catering, Barbering, and Hair & Beauty, complemented by awards in Art, Music, Fitness, Well Being, and Financial Education. All students follow a comprehensive PSHE course and receive careers advice, with Year 11 students supported in transitioning to further education, training, or apprenticeships.
