About The Croft Primary School

We are a one-form entry primary school, in the heart of the village of Armitage. Our children enjoy coming to school where our happy and caring environment enables them to excel. We work hard to promote high achievement and learning for life in all children, through an ethos of support, challenge and encouragement.

"A Home Away From Home!"

I've been blown away by the warmth and kindness of the staff at The Croft Primary. My child has thrived in this nurturing environment, making friends and learning so much. The facilities are top-notch, especially the outdoor spaces which are perfect for exploring and learning.

"Excellent Education"

My son had a fantastic time at The Croft Primary. The teachers were always supportive and encouraged him to reach his full potential. The values of caring, courageous and creative learning really shone through in the way the staff engaged with the children.

"A Great Start to Education"

I'm so impressed with the early years provision at The Croft Primary. The staff are all lovely and really care about the children's well-being. My child is enjoying the various extracurricular activities, especially the craft club.

"Some Good, Some Not So Good"

My child has been at The Croft Primary for a couple of years now and while there have been some really positive experiences, there have also been some disappointments. The teaching can be a bit inconsistent and the school meals aren't always great. However, the staff are generally friendly and supportive.
