About Benhall St Mary's Church of England Primary School

Benhall St Mary's Primary is a traditional Church of England village primary school on the outskirts of Saxmundham. Our small size and close links with the community means that all the staff know each and every child and their family very well. This gives us the unique opportunity to create highly personalised learning experiences for our children and provide a nurturing environment that recognises individual circumstances.

"A wonderful school community"

We have been so impressed with the welcoming and inclusive community at Benhall St Mary's Primary. Our child has thrived in the caring environment, making great friends and achieving their academic goals. We love the traditional village feel and the thatched roof of the school building!

"A great foundation for young minds"

Our child attended Benhall St Mary's Primary for three years and we were consistently impressed with the quality of teaching and the range of extracurricular activities on offer. The school's values of kindness and respect are clearly embedded in the daily life of the school and helped shape our child's character.

"A lovely school, but some improvements needed"

We have been pleased with the small class sizes and the attention to detail shown by the teachers at Benhall St Mary's Primary. However, we have encountered some issues with communication from the school and would like to see more opportunities for parent involvement in school events.
