About Lincoln Gardens Primary School

Lincoln Gardens is a large primary school serving the local community of Ashby and Scunthorpe South. The school opened in September 2003 and was fortunate to move to a new building in 2004. The school was amalgamated from separately run infant and junior schools.

"A great place for my child to learn and develop"

I've been impressed with the progress my child has made since starting at Lincoln Gardens. The teachers are supportive and engaging, and the curriculum is well-rounded. My child loves the school's house system and the sense of community that comes with it. Overall, we're very happy with the school and feel it's a great choice for our family.

"Excellent school with a warm atmosphere"

I'm so grateful to have sent my child to Lincoln Gardens Primary School. The facilities are fantastic, especially the outdoor playgrounds and sports fields. The teachers are all really kind and dedicated to helping each child learn and grow. I love how the school values participation and encourages the kids to try new things. We've been really happy here.

"Good experience, but some room for improvement"

I have mixed feelings about our time at Lincoln Gardens. My child had a great time, especially in Year 2 with Mrs Ogg, but we experienced some difficulties with communication from the school. The facilities are great, and the teachers are mostly lovely. I wish the school would do more to engage with parents and keep us informed about what's going on. Still, it's a good school overall.
