About Elements Academy

Elements Academy is a new special school in Rotherham meeting the needs of students in KS2-KS4 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) where Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) is identified as the primary need. Elements Academy is a learning community that is safe, nurturing, respectful and aspirational.

"A safe haven for my child"

I have been impressed with the way Elements Academy has helped my child feel safe and supported. The nurture approach has been amazing to see in action and I feel confident that my child is in good hands. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained.

"Mixed feelings"

While I have seen some improvements in my child's behavior and confidence since moving to Elements Academy, I still have some concerns about the school's ability to meet my child's specific needs. The staff are generally friendly and approachable, but I feel that the school could do more to keep parents informed and involved.

"Excellent support for SEMH"

My child has really struggled with their SEMH needs in the past, but since moving to Elements Academy, I have seen a huge improvement. The school's commitment to the nurture approach has made all the difference, and I feel that my child is finally getting the support they need to thrive.

"A positive experience"

I was initially worried about how my child would settle into Elements Academy, but they ended up having a really positive experience. The staff were supportive and understanding, and the school's values of safety, nurture, respect and aspiration really shone through. I would definitely recommend the school to other families.
