Monteney Primary School is a large, two-form entry primary school in the north of Sheffield. We aim for our children to receive a high quality education in an environment where they feel safe, valued and respected and are incredibly proud of our children and the successes they achieve.

"Excellent School, Exceptional Staff!"

My child has been at Monteney Primary for 3 years and we've had an amazing experience. The staff are friendly, approachable and dedicated to providing the best education for each child. I particularly love the emphasis on inclusivity and extra-curricular activities. My child has thrived and developed into a confident and compassionate young person.

"A good, but not outstanding school"

We have mixed feelings about Monteney Primary. Our child had a great time in the nursery, but as they progressed to reception and beyond, we felt that the school didn't quite live up to its promises. The staff were friendly, but sometimes seemed overwhelmed. We loved the emphasis on values and character education, but felt that the academic side could be improved.

"Happy to have chosen Monteney!"

We moved to Sheffield recently and I'm so glad we chose Monteney as our child's school. The facilities are excellent, the teachers are enthusiastic and the extra-curricular activities are a great way to keep kids engaged. My child loves attending breakfast club and playing in the sports teams.
