About Woodlands Primary School

Woodlands Primary School is a 2-11 primary school with approximately 450 pupils, serving a fantastic community in the south of Sheffield. We are proud to be a part of Mercia Learning Trust. Our exceptional staff team has designed a knowledge-rich curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of our Woodlands Primary School community.

"A wonderful school experience"

I'm so grateful to have found Woodlands Primary School. Their emphasis on personal growth and development is exactly what I want for my child. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are top-notch. We've had a fantastic experience here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

"A great all-round school"

We've been really impressed with Woodlands Primary School. The curriculum is engaging and challenging, and the teachers are always happy to discuss our child's progress. We also appreciate the emphasis on values like kindness and respect. Our child loves going to school and we feel confident that they're getting a great education.

"A great school with a warm atmosphere"

I have only positive memories of Woodlands Primary School. The teachers were always supportive and encouraging, and the facilities were well-maintained. My child thrived here and made some wonderful friends. We also appreciated the school's commitment to outdoor learning and environmental education.

"A good school with some issues"

We've had a mixed experience at Woodlands Primary School. The teachers are generally good, but there have been some issues with communication and organisation. We also feel that the school could do more to support children with special needs. However, our child is happy and has made some good friends, so we're hoping things will improve.
