About Shipston-on-Stour Primary School

Shipston Primary is a popular, friendly school with well behaved, happy pupils and happy staff. It is set in extensive grounds with lots of room to play and learn. High quality teaching and learning enables children to achieve well and develop skills that they will be able to transfer across a wide range of contexts long after they leave us, into higher education and beyond.

"Our child is thriving at Shipston-on-Stour"

We've been extremely happy with the progress our child has made since starting at Shipston. The Cornerstones Curriculum is engaging and challenging, and the teachers are always supportive and encouraging. We love the values they promote and feel our child is developing a great sense of self-discipline and responsibility.

"Shipston-on-Stour Primary School is a hidden gem!"

We moved to Shipston recently and I'm so glad we chose this school for our son. The values they promote - kindness, courage, and responsibility - are exactly what I want for my child. The facilities are also amazing, our son loves playing on the playground and going on the school trips.

"Shipston-on-Stour is a wonderful school community"

We've been at Shipston for a few years now and I'm so impressed with the school's approach to learning. The class pages are really helpful in keeping us up to date with what our child is learning and the school meals are delicious too!

"Our experience of Shipston-on-Stour was mostly positive"

We left Shipston a few years ago but still keep in touch with the school. The teachers were mostly great and the school trips were always well-organised. However, I do wish they had more extra-curricular activities for older children.
