About Packwood Haugh School

A leading day and boarding prep school set in Shropshire in the heart of the UK and part of the Shrewsbury Global Family of Schools. We are a co-educational school with a strong focus on relationships, community, and character education. Our mission is to instill a passion for life-long learning in all our children.

"Excellent in All Areas"

After our recent ISI inspection, Packwood Haugh was rated 'Excellent' in all areas and we've seen firsthand why. The school's focus on character education, outdoor learning, and co-curricular activities has given our child a love of learning that's hard to match. We're so grateful for the amazing opportunities available to them.

"A Magical Place for Our Children"

We've been so impressed with Packwood Haugh's commitment to the 'Packwood Way', it's a true community that values kindness, empathy, and courage. The facilities are incredible and our child has thrived with the support of the amazing staff. We feel so lucky to have found this school.

"Room for Improvement"

We've been pleased with many aspects of Packwood Haugh, like the sports facilities and the co-curricular programme, but there are a few areas where we feel the school could improve. Communication with parents could be better, and we've sometimes struggled to get answers to our questions. That being said, our child is happy and thriving, so we're grateful for that.

"A Fantastic Education"

We were a bit nervous about leaving our child to start at Packwood Haugh, but the welcome was so warm and the transition could not have been smoother. The school's emphasis on relationships and community made our child feel safe and supported, and the facilities are truly incredible. We're so grateful for the great education they received.
