About Blackfen School for Girls

Blackfen School for Girls is an 11-18 non-selective school in the London Borough of Bexley. The school has 1350 students and around 330 of those are in our thriving mixed sixth form. Our school motto is “raising aspirations – releasing potential” which continues to be a key focus for the school.

"Wonderful School Community!"

My daughter has been at Blackfen School for Girls for 3 years now and we have been thoroughly impressed with the school. The staff are always approachable and the facilities are excellent. The values of the school really shine through in the way the students interact with each other and the community. We feel very lucky to be a part of this school.

"Supportive Environment"

My daughter has thrived at Blackfen School for Girls. The teachers are supportive and the school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities to suit all interests. The enrichment program has been a highlight for my daughter, giving her the chance to develop new skills and make new friends. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their child.

"Mixed Feelings"

My daughter attended Blackfen School for Girls for 5 years and had a generally good experience. The school has a strong community feel and the teachers are passionate about their subjects. However, I did find the communication between parents and teachers to be a bit hit and miss at times. Overall, I would recommend the school, but with some caveats.
