About Southampton Hospital School

Southampton Hospital School is an alternative provision academy that provides hospital education to pupils in Southampton General Hospital and Outreach teaching to pupils within the city of Southampton. We are experts at educating children with medical needs and enabling pupils to reintegrate back into their usual school.

"A Hidden Gem in Southampton"

We stumbled upon Southampton Hospital School by chance and it has been a game-changer for our child. The teachers are experts in their field and the school's values of compassion and resilience really resonate with us. We feel so lucky to have found this school.

"An Amazing School Experience"

My child had a wonderful experience at Southampton Hospital School. They thrived in the small class sizes and loved the opportunity to learn in a relaxed environment. The teachers were always so supportive and understanding. We cannot thank them enough.

"Mixed Experience"

Our experience at Southampton Hospital School has been mixed. On the one hand, the teachers are very supportive and the small class sizes have been beneficial for our child. However, the school's communication with us could be improved and there were some issues with the online platform used for lessons. We hope to see some changes in the future.

"A School That Truly Cares"

My child attended Southampton Hospital School during a difficult time and they were absolutely fantastic. The school's compassion and dedication to their students really shone through. They even helped my child catch up on their education after a long absence. I couldn't ask for more.
